About

I'm Chukwuneku Akpotohwo. Most people call me Neku. I'm a software engineer in Nigeria, a computer science graduate of Babcock University (class of 2026), and most of what I believe fits in one line: intelligence is built, not found. Days, I'm CTO at an early-stage fintech. Nights, I build Dysseo, a fitness app that adapts your calorie target to what your body actually does.
From 2024 I built GDG on Campus Babcock into the largest developer community on campus: 1,500+ members, five shipped products, a summit that drew over five hundred people and a career fair that drew a thousand more. In 2026 I handed it to the next set of hands, which was always the point of building something that outlasts you.
Off the clock I read cognitive psychology and take ideas apart until they stop reducing. I care about what grows minds, mine included, and what that looks like at the scale of a person, a community, a continent.
